How is the seal seat of high-temperature ball valve damaged?

The process of seal seat damage is as follows: During the high temperature and high pressure (6.0MPa saturated steam) test on the high-temperature ball valve, it was found that the seal seat was damaged. Through inspection, it was found that the seal seat at the inlet end of the medium was damaged, and the damage was the same part, while the seal seat at the outlet end was intact. In order to determine whether the seal seat damage occurred during the opening or closing process of the high-temperature ball valve, the high-temperature ball valve was specially tested in sections.First, when the high-temperature ball valve is closed, inject 6.0MPa saturated steam, preheat for 10 minutes, open the high-temperature ball valve, and then check whether the seal seat is damaged; Then, when the high-temperature ball valve is open, inject 6.0MPa saturated steam, preheat for 10 minutes, close the high-temperature ball valve, and check whether the seal seat is damaged. As a result, the seal seat at the inlet end is damaged in both tests.Because the sealing principle of high-temperature ball valve with floating ball structure is that under the action of medium pressure, the ball will produce corresponding displacement and press on the sealing seat at the outlet end to ensure the sealing at the outlet end, so the damage of the sealing seat at the inlet end will not affect the sealing performance of high-temperature ball valve, and has corresponding concealment. When the high-temperature ball valve is opened and closed for many times, the damage of the seal seat at the inlet end will also cause partial shearing and falling off.
